Strategic Air Command (SAC) Shield

The Strategic Air Command shield.
I was a SAC pilot for many years and very proud of it.
I still believe that SAC had a great deal to do with winning the cold war.
With the nuclear alert SAC used to use,
we had a great deal to do with strategic deterrence.
If the Russians had tried to bomb America,
they could not have done it without SAC inflicting significant casualties upon them.
I am proud of my service to the free world.
